I started SilvyrRain’s Storm as a way to pass the time since becoming disabled. I wanted a project that I could express myself with and have some fun at the same time. I am currently very limited as to what I can do, but each and every day, I try to grow and become better.
I was (perhaps, am?) a computer engineer. I’ve been learning that perhaps once an engineer, always an engineer. I went through many very difficult years of school to emerge with an M.S. in computer engineering. I went off to work and thought I finally might have had things figured out, until I became ill. And I never got better.
I have dysautonomia, along with other co-morbid illnesses. My autonomic nervous system has malfunctioned. My body cannot properly regulate my heart rate, blood pressure, digestive system, temperature, and more. I also live in pain everyday. There is currently no cure, but I choose to live with hope.
